Tiling for airports, stations and transport hubs
Floors and washrooms that take millions of footsteps, tiled overnight or out of hours while the public keeps moving.
Overview
Transport buildings rarely close, so tiling work has to fit around passengers. Floors need to cope with huge footfall, wheeled luggage and wet weather brought in from outside, and washrooms are used constantly.
Our team's experience includes airports and train stations, and we're used to night shifts, site security procedures and working right next to the public.
What we tile
- Concourse and entrance floors
- Public washrooms and toilet blocks
- Staff welfare and changing areas
- Retail and food units
- Stair cores and lift lobbies
- Patch repairs to damaged or loose tiles
What matters
Night and out-of-hours work
We work night shifts and quiet periods so busy areas stay open during the day.
Public safety
Barriers, signage and phased working keep passengers away from the work and routes open around it.
Wet entrances
Entrance areas get wet from outside, so they need tiles with a suitable slip rating for how they're actually used.
Fast repairs
A single cracked or lifting tile is a trip hazard. We can replace damaged tiles quickly and match them as closely as possible.
How we work on site
- We keep dust down with vacuums and dust extractors and clean up as we go.
- We protect finished work and surrounding areas, and leave the site clean and tidy every day.
- We work evenings, nights and weekends when a programme or opening hours call for it.
- Both of us are enhanced DBS checked, hold CSCS cards and are trained in COSHH, manual handling, abrasive wheels and asbestos and silica awareness.
- Risk assessments, method statements and COSHH information are available on request.

Common questions
Can you work overnight?
Yes. Night shifts are normal for us on transport and retail sites.
Can you replace a few damaged tiles rather than a whole floor?
Yes. Patch repairs are often the quickest and cheapest fix. Spare tiles from the original job make matching much easier.
Do you work with site security and access procedures?
Yes. We're used to site inductions, sign-in procedures and working under the rules of busy public buildings.
Have a tiling project coming up?
Send us the details and we'll get a price back to you.
