Supermarket and retail tiling
Heavy-duty floors and washrooms for stores that need to keep trading, tiled overnight or in phases.
Overview
Shop floors take constant footfall, trolleys, pallet trucks and cleaning machines, and every hour a store can't trade costs money. Our team's experience includes national supermarket and coffee shop chains, and we're used to working overnight and handing areas back for opening.
We tile sales floors, entrances, customer toilets, staff welfare areas, bakeries and food counters in supermarkets, convenience stores, shopping centres and retail units.
What we tile
- Sales floors and entrances
- Customer and staff toilets
- Bakery, deli and food counter areas
- Warehouse and back-of-house areas
- Retail unit fit-outs
- Repairs to cracked tiles and trip hazards
What matters
Keep trading
We work overnight, in phased bays or out of hours, and leave areas clean and safe for opening.
Built for trolleys
Floors need a solid base, full adhesive coverage and hard-wearing tiles to cope with trolleys and pallet trucks.
Entrance safety
Entrances get wet from outside, so they need the right slip-resistant tile.
Quick repairs
A broken tile on a shop floor is a trip hazard. We can replace damaged tiles quickly and keep the area safe while we work.
How we work on site
- We keep dust down with vacuums and dust extractors and clean up as we go.
- We protect finished work and surrounding areas, and leave the site clean and tidy every day.
- We work evenings, nights and weekends when a programme or opening hours call for it.
- Both of us are enhanced DBS checked, hold CSCS cards and are trained in COSHH, manual handling, abrasive wheels and asbestos and silica awareness.
- Risk assessments, method statements and COSHH information are available on request.

Common questions
Can you work overnight so the store stays open?
Yes. Overnight and phased working is normal for us on retail sites.
Can you match existing floor tiles?
We'll match as closely as possible. If spare tiles were kept from the original job, the repair can be almost invisible.
Do you work for main contractors on shop fit-outs?
Yes. We work directly for retailers and as the tiling contractor for main contractors and fit-out companies.
Have a tiling project coming up?
Send us the details and we'll get a price back to you.
