What we collect

When you contact us by phone, email, the website chat or the enquiry form, we receive the details you choose to give us, such as your name, company, phone number, email address, the project location and details, and any photos or drawings you send. If you start the website chat, your answers are kept in your own browser until you close the tab, so nothing is lost if you close the chat by mistake. They only reach us when you press send.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange and carry out work, and keep the records a business needs, such as invoices. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, carrying out a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. Enquiries from the website are delivered to us by our email provider. We only share it where needed to do the work, for example with suppliers delivering to site, or where the law requires it, such as with our accountants or HMRC.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted when they're no longer needed. Records for jobs we carry out are kept for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting purposes.

Website analytics

We use privacy-friendly website analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. This doesn't use advertising cookies or identify you personally.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@tiletrustltd.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
