Tiling for schools, colleges and universities
Toilets, changing rooms, kitchens and corridors tiled by enhanced DBS-checked tilers, planned around the school year.
Overview
Schools need contractors they can trust on site, work that is finished on time and surfaces that survive hundreds of pupils a day. Our team has worked on many school sites, so we understand how they run.
We tile pupil and staff toilets, changing rooms and showers, school kitchens, corridors and entrances, in nurseries, primary and secondary schools, colleges, universities and student accommodation.
What we tile
- Pupil and staff toilets
- Changing rooms and showers
- School kitchens and dining halls
- Corridors, entrances and stairwells
- Science, art and food technology rooms
- Student accommodation bathrooms
What matters
Safeguarding
Dan and Jay both hold enhanced DBS checks and CSCS cards, and we follow each school's sign-in and site rules.
Built for heavy use
Hard-wearing porcelain and well-filled joints cope with heavy footfall, spills and daily cleaning.
Holiday programmes
We plan larger jobs for half terms and summer holidays, and can work evenings and weekends during term.
Safe and tidy sites
Work areas are kept secure and separate from pupils, and cleaned up properly at the end of each day.
How we work on site
- We keep dust down with vacuums and dust extractors and clean up as we go.
- We protect finished work and surrounding areas, and leave the site clean and tidy every day.
- We work evenings, nights and weekends when a programme or opening hours call for it.
- Both of us are enhanced DBS checked, hold CSCS cards and are trained in COSHH, manual handling, abrasive wheels and asbestos and silica awareness.
- Risk assessments, method statements and COSHH information are available on request.

Common questions
Are you DBS checked?
Yes. Dan and Jay both hold enhanced DBS checks, as well as CSCS cards.
Can you do the work in the school holidays?
Yes. Holidays are the best time for bigger jobs like toilet blocks and changing rooms, so it's worth booking early.
Can you work while pupils are in school?
For smaller jobs, yes. We keep our area separate and secure and can work after school or at weekends.
Have a tiling project coming up?
